Vijay has been in the investment business for nearly 35 years. He was part of founding team of ICICI Ventures,
the first venture fund in India in the late 1980s. From early 2000’s he has been managing Novastar Funds.
Novastar was an early foreign institutional investor in India. The firm has a successful track record of investing
in publicly listed emerging growth companies.
Novastar and its associates make long term equity investments globally. They also invest in high yield bonds.
Vijay is an engineer (NIT Surathkal) and an MBA (IIM Lucknow). He has lectured at top business schools globally.
